THE GARDEN

of Le Mas de Chabran

The garden of Le Mas de Chabran, originally an olive grove, has been designed and
established in its current look all the way back in the 18th century, after the transformation from an Olive oil producing domaine to an elegant private residence. This Rainaissance, Jardin à la Francaise featuring the central round fountain, the roman basin Lilly pond and the topiary and clipped shrubs is somewhat atypical for Provencal residences. Inspired by classical Roman and Greek ideals of harmony, symmetry and geometry, it is designed to emphasize infinity and grandeur with its long avenues and different perspectives.

Our garden offers a variety of spaces for guests to explore and enjoy, from secluded seating areas and cozy reading spots to exciting play and adventure zones designed for our youngest visitors.

THE POOL

area

Completely surrounded by greenery and opening up to the south lawn, the pool area is a favorite retreat during the summer months. With heated salt-treated waters and elegant wrought iron pool furniture, it is the perfect place to relax, unwind and embrace a bit of playful fun. A Sonos Sound system lets you enjoy your favorite music, while a fully equipped pool bar adds to the experience.

THE FRONT GARDEN

and pergola

The front garden, with its iconic round fountain, home to a century-old white lilly, is one of the most celebrated features of Le Mas de Chabran. White heritage roses , blooming from May through the height of summer, along with fragrant jasmine and hydrangeas create a dreamy athmosphere, framed by mature trees – a place of wonder for guests of all ages.
Beneath the leafy pergola, an al-fresco dining space for up to 18 people offers the perfect setting to enjoy leisurely lunches or lively dinners in the warm months.

THE OPEN LAWN

and chapel

A spacious lawn invites guests to enjoy morning yoga accompanied by birdsong or set up a picnic in the early afternoon. This open area is also perfect for a game of frisbee, touch football, or badminton.

At the far end of the lawn lies a piece of history preserved on the grounds of Le Mas de Chabran—an 18th-century deconsecrated chapel, now a serene space for reflection and gratitude.

THE VEGETABLE

garden

Venture further down and you will end up in the vegetable garden, where everyone is invited to come and pick fresh vegetables and herbs. In the summer the potager offers an abundance of green beans, zucchini, eggplant , peppers and of course- the king of the Provencal table, the sun drenched tomato. Mint, basil and lemon verbena are available in the season as well as sweet melons and strawberries. Whether you enjoy to get your hands in the soil, or simply admiring nature’s beauty, the vegetable garden is always open for exploration.
